I am back to blogging here on our Ohana site. I am back to update you on all our Baluca Bunch adventures. First and foremost I'd like to mahalo www.joysauce.net for capturing our annual family portraits in all it's glory! It's just a glimpse into what our lives entail with four kids and two doggies.
If you are reading this you probably already know that I have chosen to take a break from social media, more specifically IG and FB for 6 months, beginning 2018 Thanksgiving til my birthday May 24, 2019. It really woke me up how I have been neglected my gratitude practice and lost touch with meaningful, fun spontaneous events full of love. An addiction connected to my smartphone use. Not to mention my self care routines had fallen to the wayside. It feels good to get back to my devotion again and taking the advice I give to others. I love that saying, "We teach what we need to learn, that's when healing takes place!"

* Alijah learning how to ride his bicycle without training wheels
* Alijah boogie boarding by himself for the first time
* Alijah loves playing t-ball (switch hitter) and flag football
* Isiah lost his 2 front teeth finally (he's 8yrs old)
* Isiah playing soccer on his team Black Knights
* Isiah is a Wolf Cub Scout
* Rinnah's solo Indian dance performance at Doris Duke theater with Aaja Nachle
* Rinnah playing soccer with her team Warriors
* Rinnah enjoying sewing class and adding more projects in her creative mind
* Jonah buying his own guitar & teaching himself how to play
* Jonah performing at Prince Lot Hula Festival
* Jonah is taller than his Dad
* Giji training to be program director for the Money & You Program
* Giji at Agape Soul Sister Retreat, Kalaupapa, Seattle, Mt. Shasta, Ohio, LV & SF
* Giji turned the big 4-0
* Rooney's fabulous work trip to London
* Rooney's dedication as assistant Boy Scout Master with Troop 223
* Rooney traded his truck for a Ducati
* Visiting family in San Diego 2x's this year and meeting the new babies in our families
* Going to Legoland 2x's this year...never a dull moment for my Lego lovers
* Sailing on a Hawaiian voyaging canoe called Kamoauli with Kumu Kawika
* Rooney & Giji's JoKoy date (thanks to Adam & Michelle for the tickets)
* Isiah, Rinnah & Jonah performing at Kailua I Love Hula
* Alijah & Isiah attending Filipino for Kids Summer Program
* Isiah and Rinnah singing musicals in Shine on Stage homeschool performing arts
* Puppy Pikah is 6 yrs old & has become the good doggie on walks
*Puppy Kalea is 4yrs old & loves to outrun us all (rescued pup)
